Material Handler
In the Material Handler role, you will play a crucial part in the manufacturing process by efficiently receiving incoming bar stock, loading machines, and managing chip removal operations throughout the shift. This individual should have a strong work ethic, be proficient with computers, and be able to work independently and efficiently. Hours: 9:00am - 5:30pm or 10:00am - 6:30pm, based on candidate preference Essential Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Material Handling:Inspect, tag, and transfer raw material to designated warehouse storage racks. Collaborate with the purchasing team to report any discrepancies or issues with incoming materials.Maintain accurate inventory records of raw materials by recording all material receipts and movements in the ERP system. Operate forklift, hand-operated crane, hoist, and hand truck as needed (only ~5% of shift)Load and unload the scrap truck. Filter recycled oil and operate the still. Maintain a clean and organized storage area by removing empty storage containers from racks, sweeping and mopping as necessary.Receive incoming bar stock deliveries using a forklift.Machine Loading:Review production schedules to determine material requirements for upcoming jobs.Inspect bar stock for any defects or irregularities before loading into machines.Prep material for loading in bar feeders. Transport and load bar stock into machines for machine operators.Ensure proper alignment and positioning of materials to meet machine specifications.Collaborate with machine operators to optimize workflow and minimize downtime. Communication:Maintain clear and open communication with team members, supervisors, and other departments.Provide timely updates on material availability or any other issues that may impact production.Examine processes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Industrial Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician

This individual ensures quality inspection processes are efficient, accurate, and aligned with client and industry standards. This role is essential in driving high-quality outputs and supports training of staff in system usage. Work Schedule: This is a full-time, benefits eligible position requiring approximately 40 hours per week. Core work schedule is Monday – Friday from 6:30am – 3:00pm.
