The Maintenance Lubrication Technician is responsible for ensuring the proper lubrication of all CNC machines and associated equipment to maximize uptime, extend asset life, and prevent mechanical failures. This role also supports overall equipment cleanliness and basic mechanical upkeep, including chip removal and hydraulic hose maintenance, contributing to a safe and efficient production environment. The daily focus will be preventive maintenance work that will consist of 80% of the day.  Essential Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:  Maintenance & Equipment Reliability (Primary):Own the reliability, uptime, and lifecycle management of all production equipmentDesign, implement, and continuously improve a comprehensive Preventative Maintenance (PM) programLead troubleshooting, diagnostics, and root cause analysis for chronic or high-impact failuresEstablish maintenance standards for CNC, Swiss, cam, secondary, and support equipmentServe as the escalation point for mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and control system issuesDevelop machine-specific maintenance documentation, checklists, and service historiesPartner with production and engineering to improve equipment reliability through design and process improvements Specific Duties Include: Perform routine and scheduled lubrication of CNC machines, including way oil systems, spindle lubrication, gearboxes, and hydraulic components Inspect equipment for proper lubrication levels, leaks, contamination, and wear Maintain and service automatic lubrication systems (single-point, centralized systems, etc.) Monitor and replenish oils, greases, and coolants according to manufacturer and plant standards Collect oil and grease samples for analysis and assist in predictive maintenance activities Identify and report abnormal equipment conditions such as overheating, vibration, or unusual noise Maintain accurate lubrication records and documentation (CMMS systems if applicable) Assist in developing and improving lubrication schedules and procedures Ensure proper storage, handling, and labeling of lubricants to avoid contamination Clean chips and debris from CNC machines, enclosures, and chip conveyors to maintain proper machine function and safety Clean and maintain coolant sumps, including removal of sludge, tramp oil, and contaminants Fabricate, assemble, and replace hydraulic hoses and fittings as needed Support maintenance team during breakdowns and repairs as needed Follow all safety procedures, including proper handling of chemicals and lockout/tagout (LOTO) 

Production Technician- Finishing - 2nd Shift

 Job Summary: The Finishing Technician at Reader Precision Solutions plays a critical role in ensuring that machined parts meet all required specifications and are ready for on-time shipment to clients. This position involves performing various finishing operations (parts washing, tumbling, passivation, etc.) of components using high-tech finishing equipment, monitoring workflow to accommodate high-priority jobs, and maintaining proper inventory and equipment maintenance. Production Technician- Secondary Operations-1st Shift

This role involves precision work, removing sharp edges and burrs from machine components to guarantee the highest quality products. Your role will include a variety of different job tasks including work at the bench inspecting machined components, operating laser engravers, CNC mills/lathes, buffing machines, thread rollers, grinders, etc. This team member will thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, has a keen eye for detail, and is committed to delivering excellence.Essential Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Ensure precise conformance of workpieces to specifications by utilizing measuring instruments, including micrometers, calipers, profilometer, and go-no-go gauges.Execute the setup of machines by lifting, moving, clamping, and bolting tools and fixtures using a variety of hand tools.Handle the positioning and removal of workpieces, as well as the disposal of scrap from machines.Utilize portable grinders and hand tools to file, grind, buff, or scrape sharp edges, burrs, etc. from workpieces.Categorize, mark, or tag finished work and manually transport materials.Conduct daily visual inspections of machines to ensure proper functionality before operation. Verify the availability of necessary materials at the beginning of each job, including materials, gauging equipment, prints,    inspection instructions, and routers.
