Reader Precision Solutions Expands Precision Machining Capabilities to Support High-Volume Contract Manufacturing
ELKHORN, WI, May, 28, 2026 – Reader Precision Solutions (Reader Precision), a precision machining contract manufacturer, is launching a $3.63 million expansion of its Swiss and CNC precision machining platforms. This progressive capital investment responds to rising demand across several key sectors, equipping the company to support scalable, high-volume production for mission-critical industries while positioning Reader Precision to grow alongside its strategic partners.

This equipment expansion builds upon the momentum of Reader Precision’s recent relocation to its Elkhorn, Wisconsin headquarters, a facility retrofitted to accommodate greater capacity, advanced technology and long-term scalability. The current multi-phase equipment rollout is driving that vision forward, standardizing production floor performance while also playing a critical role in the company’s workforce development.

Recently integrated platforms:
- Two Miyano BNX-51MSY2 Machines: Building on Reader Precision’s early adoption of the BNX platform, these next-generation units feature upgraded controls, increased distance between spindles and enhanced ergonomics, perfectly complementing the company’s existing BNX-51MSY fleet.
Arriving summer 2026:
- Four Tsugami S206 Type II Machines: Expanding Reader Precision’s total S206 fleet to 10 identical units, these additions will maximize shop-floor flexibility and enable seamless job routing.
- Two Tsugami B0205-VR Type V Machines: As the newest generation of the B0205 platform, the Tsugami B0205-VR Type V machines introduce enhanced part ejection and processing improvements that complement the company’s existing Type III fleet.
- Six Ventura SoftCam CNC Machines (3 V2’s, 3 V4’s): Originally shipped to Ventura Mechanics S.A. in Bôle, Switzerland, in March 2025, these machines are returning this summer as retrofitted Escomatic CNC controlled platforms. The upgrades are designed to improve changeover speed and production flexibility for high volume programs.
By standardizing around these proven machine platforms, Reader Precision minimizes setup times, streamlines operator training and mitigates downtime. This ensures highly competitive, redundant production capabilities for its clients.
